Rose and Sugar Bowl thoughts

The refs face pretty sums up how we all feel during this game. Good finally triumphs over Evil! We all wanted Winston to lose but this game was even better than what any of us could hope for. It was not FSU finally losing a close game. FSU LOST BY 39 points! 59-20! Winston looked lost and confused at times. Winston was just horrible and it was awesome.

If you would have told me the Sugar Bowl was going to come down to Alabama needing a Hail Mary to win...I would have called you Crazy. Alabama was up 21-6, Ohio State could not score touchdowns in the RedZone. It was just typical SEC taking care of B1G teams. Well, something changed at halftime. All of a sudden Ohio State was the aggressor and Alabama was just trying to keep up. Before you know it Alabama was barely keeping it up. Urban Meyer and Ohio State are for real after the 42-35 win.

Predictions for Championship game? Oregon 45 Ohio State 38

I will try to do some more sports updates and thoughts as things happen. This is America!

Family Day!!!!

Pensacola has so much to offer. We went to Navy Aviation Museum. So much cool history there. The family loved the day! Guess this is what happens when I get over a week of work off!
Testing out the cockpit

He is checking where Dad is while flying the plane!

Family taking a Selfie. I have a great family!

Baby girl and mom flying a plane. They had a kid play area and Riley loved it. It is all he talks about. He now says "I want to go play with Airplanes"

Pensacola has been good to us so far. I am doing my best to do well at my job so that we can stay here long term. Things are great with my boss and I hope to be here long term at this hospital and company!

Gator Football

GO GATORS. We are looking forward to the new season already. It is going to be a very long off season. At least we know we have a coach leading us who knows offense.
Us enjoying the Spring game...before the family!
Enjoy a Gator game while we are winning! Something we have not experienced in awhile there thanks to Muschamp. What better way to destroy the Gators than to have a Georgia Bulldog as the head coach!

Merry Christmas

It has been over a year since I posted. So back by popular demand, THE GOLDEN FAMILY has returned to the BLOGGING SCENE...look out world! In the last year our daughter, Taylor, was born. We got a new job, lost the new job, and then got another job that led us to Pensacola,FL. Heavenly Father always has a plan. Just be patient and good things will happen. Man, it is so much easier to type than to write in a journal...hmm...I maybe onto something.
This is Riley loving his Sister under the Christmas Tree

A little Christmas Cheer

This is Riley when he found out that Muschamp was Florida's football coach!

So here is a little preview. More to come as the time goes on. A lot of catching up to do.

Hostetler's and the Holidays

Proud moment for any parent when he sees his son take the control from him and try to game. This is how Riley and me spent some of our Sunday afternoon before nap time.
Riley loved the whole idea of trick or treating. When we told people he was a dinosaur he would give them a ROAR! He loved the whole idea of knocking on someone's door and they give him candy. Next year we are going to clean up since he will be able to run a little better.
Riley was being silly at Chik-Fil-A. He loves to wear their table pieces as a hat.
Alison made rice crispy treats in the shape of Pumpkins for Halloween

She then made MUMMY DOGS and Pasta. Loved that meal

Frankenstein pudding. Really good. I think it was cheesecake pudding and Oreo crumbs

Philly Cheese Steak stuffed into a pepper

Spider Pizza
Riley decided he wanted to help MOM out with her cooking. He has become a nice little helper when stuff needs to be mixed or poured in.
Alison really gets into all the holidays. I love the enthusiasm she brings into Riley and my life when the holidays come around. She does a great job making sure the whole family has a good time and as you can see....fed well!

Halloween with the HOSTETLER FAMILY

HALLOWEEN is here. We had a great time doing the TRUNK OR TREAT. Riley loved how if he just went up to people and said "CA CE (trick or treat)" or "Please"....they gave him CANDY. This could be the greatest HOLIDAY ever for him. Alison and our neighbor dressed as pumpkins.
Good to see ANDREW getting into the HOLIDAY spirit with his COSTUME...or maybe that is just how his clothes fit right now.
Also got new shoes....they are totally me! LOVE them and got them for 60% off. My mom has taught me how to shop well.

So that is all going on in the HOSTETLER's life right now. Riley is sick but getting better. Work is going good but still have a few "kinks" to work out. I am now in Second place in the HOSTETLER PICKS... WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! Just need another big weekend and I will be closer to DAD.

Back at it again....4 years later

Not sure how this whole posting things work but I will give it a try since it has only been about 4 years since I posted. Just so you all know...I write in a Journal instead of putting everything online for all to see and the government to read.

What has happened since May 2009...here goes

I graduate from UF  May 2010

We had a kid June 2011...Riley Cooper Hostetler

Got a job in Jacksonville May 2011 but lost job in August 2011

Started working for new company October 2011 and am still with company. Started out in Baltimore but have since transferred to............yep FLORIDA. Good to be back in the south.

Kid #2 on the way due in February...going to be a girl....not sure how that happened.

So there is our life in the last 4 years in a nutshell.

Let's see how often I post but I will try to keep everyone informed. We have a loving family who supports us and helps us every day. We are so glad to have you all in our life.
Be on the look out for posts.
